We are looking for KS1 and KS2 teachers from across the UK to help us evaluate and shape an exciting new initiative from the BBC and the Premier League that’s all about getting children more active throughout the school day. You will be part of an online community of teachers, sharing your experiences, ideas and best practice all while helping to shape the future of the initiative.
We will be setting short simple tasks for you to complete with your class roughly once a fortnight, which will run between January to June. We will be asking you to share your experiences, with us and the other teachers in the community, by answering a few questions, every couple of weeks.
About the campaign
Launching in January 2018, Super Movers will help primary teachers get their pupils moving throughout the day with lots of free, easy-to-use video resources and great football-inspired incentives like a visit from the Premier League trophy.
Active children do better and get more from their school day. Super Movers will bring stars from the worlds of football and television together in fun educational videos which will capture children's imagination and get them moving. Resources will not require any additional equipment.
The campaign aims to encourage teachers, parents and pupils to adopt an active approach to learning and support them to include physical activity across the school day.
If selected, you’ll be invited to an online community where you can provide us with your feedback about the resources and discuss your experiences with other teachers. We will be asking you to complete short simple tasks in the online community approximately twice a month, between January and June. Your feedback will be used by the BBC to develop and improve the future of the campaign.
Examples of a task might include selecting a video from the website to use with your class, and answering a few questions about the experience.
We would also like to be able to invite parents to an online community to hear from them too, so to help us reach them you will be provided with a letter to send out in January.
Schools would be required to commit to the following:
As a thank you, we will pay you £100 and you will also receive a limited edition welcome pack for your class.
