We are looking for primary school teachers to help develop resources for the Travel to Tokyo programme. The Travel to Tokyo programme is a partnership between Team GB and ParalympicsGB aimed at inspiring primary school children and their families to get active. We want people to see that ‘physical activity’ is not just about sport – anyone can become more active anywhere.
The resources are two Travel to Tokyo ‘travel guides’ (KS2 and KS3). Through active cross-curricular learning, teams will explore the cultures and sports of the different Olympic and Paralympic host cities as they complete their journey from London to Tokyo.
We would like teachers to review content for relevance, engagement and appeal for their pupils of different ages.
We’d especially like to hear from teachers in schools with high levels of pupil premium or from teachers of pupils with special educational needs.
The review will be in two parts:
Review synopsis and rank ideas – 19-24 September*
Review fully written typescript stage (undersigned) – 9-15 October*
*exact dates may be subject to change.
We estimate that reviewing will take around 2-3 hours to complete. You will be reimbursed £50 for your time at the end of the project
