EdComs is creating a series of sessions to tell the story of waste including the 4Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle, recover. Partnering with Veolia, this impactful and memorable PSHE resource will develop pupils’ social skills and promote behaviour change through challenges and pledges. We are looking for KS2 teachers to help us shape and develop these resources.
After an assembly introduction, pupils work through four sessions, one for each of the 4Rs.
You will be reviewing the content of assembly and four sessions alongside some design assets. We would like teachers to review content for relevance, engagement and appeal for their pupils.
The review will be in two stages – once at an earlier stage and again at a later stage:
Review of a synopsis of the proposed work: Wednesday 5th August - Monday 10th August 2020
Review of the first draft of the resources: Thursday 20th August - Monday 24th August
We estimate that reviewing will take around 2-3 hours to complete. You will be reimbursed £35 for your time at the end of the project.
We will provide all the materials for you to review as well as templates for your feedback.
Please register your interest by Monday 3rd August COP.
