We are looking for primary and secondary teachers interested in getting young people active to review the latest resource from Get Set, Team GB and ParalympicsGB’s youth engagement programme. Get Set provides free school resources and exclusive opportunities that get young people active and encourage young people to live the Olympic and Paralympic Values.
We are creating a whole school-school assembly resource, with a supporting activity sheet. The assembly will feature video clips from Team GB and Paralympics GB athletes and simple PowerPoint quizzes. The focus of the resource is inspiration - how can we inspire others to get active?
We are looking for PE teachers, or those interested in getting young people active at school, to review a summary of the resource, and then a draft of the resource before it is designed.
Review of the resource summary will take approximately half an hour, and is ready to be reviewed immediately. We would like this review to be completed by Monday 9th October.
The review of the draft resource will happen later this term, times TBC, but a minimum of 3 days will be given to complete the review. This will take approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour.
We estimate that the work will take about an hour and a half in total, split across two stages. We will pay you £40 for your time.
We will provide all the materials for you to review as well as templates for your feedback.
If you are interested in taking part, please click 'apply now' and in the supporting information box please tell us the Key Stages you teach and any responsibilities for teaching PE / getting young people active at school.
